The Vaseline® Healing Project provided medical support to help communities rebuild after an earthquake.
In April 2015, Nepal was hit by the Gorkha earthquake measuring 7.8 in magnitude: destroying homes, sanitation and water supplies in minutes. Restoring normal life after natural disasters takes time and longstanding effort. Healthcare is an essential part of that recovery process.
Under these extraordinary conditions, skin health can quickly deteriorate and disease can spread. The Vaseline® Healing Project provided skin care and multi-disciplinary medical clinics to help villagers rebuild their lives. Doctors treated an array of conditions before they worsened.
